Pharmaceutical action:

Vicks Active Balm with menthol and eucalyptus is a combined preparation, the action of which is due to the components that make up its composition.

It has a local irritating, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effect.

A decrease in the degree of nasal congestion with a single application of the drug is observed up to 8 hours.

Indications

As part of the complex therapy of inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract, accompanied by:

- runny nose

- a feeling of nasal congestion

- cough and sore throat.

Contraindications

- tendency to laryngo- and bronchospasm

- bronchial asthma

- whooping cough

- false croup (acute stenosing laryngotracheitis)

- cough caused by accumulation of phlegm (mucus)

- prolonged or chronic cough caused by smoking or emphysema

- damage to the skin and skin diseases in the area of ��the intended application of the drug

- children under 2 years old

- hypersensitivity to the components of the drug Vicks Active Balm with menthol and eucalyptus.

Application during pregnancy and lactation

Due to the lack of experience with pregnant and lactating women, the appointment of Vicks Active Balsam with menthol and eucalyptus is not recommended for this group.
