pharmachologic effect
Antihemorrhoidal drug.
Phenylephrine hydrochloride is an alpha-adrenergic agonist, has a local vasoconstrictor effect, which helps to reduce exudation, tissue swelling, itching in the anorectal region.

Indications for use

Contraindications for use

With care: arterial hypertension, hyperthyroidism, diabetes mellitus, urinary retention (prostatic hypertrophy), pregnancy, lactation.
Dosage regimen
The drug should be used after hygiene procedures.
Rectal 1 suppository in the morning, at night and after each bowel movement up to 4 times / day.

Rarely: allergic reactions.
Drug interactions
Due to the phenylephrine contained, the effect of antihypertensive drugs is reduced.
With the simultaneous appointment with antidepressants - MAO inhibitors, a hypertensive crisis may develop.
Application during pregnancy and lactation
Use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended without consulting a doctor.
In case of bleeding, worsening of the condition or in the absence of effect within 7 days, you must stop using the drug and seek medical advice.
Should not be used in conjunction with antihypertensive drugs and MAO inhibitors.
