RioFlora contains 8 strains of beneficial microorganisms, specially selected to reduce the risk of intestinal disorders (diarrhea, constipation, bloating (flatulence)) caused by taking antibiotics. Antibiotics are effective in killing harmful microorganisms, but they can also have the side effect of killing beneficial bacteria. Thus, antibiotics can alter the gut microbiota.
