pharmachologic effect
Nasik is a combined nasal drug that consists of xylometazoline and dexapanthenol.
Xylometazoline belongs to the group of alpha-adrenosympathomimetics.
Being an imidazole derivative, Nasic causes vasoconstriction in the nasal cavity, reduces edema and facilitates the passage of secretions.
The clinical effect after the application of Nazik develops within 5-10 minutes.
Dexapanthenol is an alcoholic, biologically active derivative of pantothenic acid.
Pantothenic acid, being a vitamin, is involved, as an enzyme, in the biosynthesis of protein antibodies and in the development of a tissue immune response.
Thus, dexapanthenol promotes the regeneration of the epithelium of the nasal mucosa and its healing.
Side effects
Nazik exhibits side effects in less than 1 ‰ of cases.
Fatigue, headache, insomnia, palpitations, tachycardia, increased blood pressure, dryness or irritation of the nasal mucosa, and increased symptoms of congestion were noted.
