The fixation glove with finger dividers is intended for patients who:

May interfere with treatment by pulling out an IV or catheter

take off diapers

comb the bedsores

In the lower part, the glove is filled with padding polyester, in the upper part it is divided into compartments for fingers.

This prevents pinching of fingers, scratching and any active hand actions.

It is attached to the wrist and is fastened with a sling with a fastex lock, while the soft cuff serves as an additional protection against pinching the vessels of the patient's wrist.

Suitable for any size hand of an adult.

Indications for use:

If there is a risk of disruption of treatment (for example, pulling out IVs and catheters)

When the patient tries to remove the sensors of the connected equipment

If the patient injures himself - scratching, scratching the skin, bedsores, itchy areas

When the patient resists the use of hygiene products (diapers, absorbent panties).

Contraindications for use:

Do not use if there are dislocations, fractures or damage to the skin on the affected limb

Do not use on patients prone to aggressive, agitated or suicidal conditions.

ADVERSE REACTIONS: Serious emotional, psychological, or physical problems can occur if the glove is uncomfortable for the patient or if it severely restricts movement.

Instructions for use:

Before use, check that the gloves are not damaged / torn, that the Velcro and fastex are securely fastened.

Insert the patient's hand into the glove, palm down.

Separate your fingers so that they fit into the appropriate compartments of the glove.

Fasten the Velcro cuffs and fastex and pull up the free end of the webbing.

Use your finger to check where the glove is attached to the wrist (inside the patient's wrist).

The strap should be tight enough, but not overtighten the wrist so as not to interfere with blood circulation.

If the glove is too loose, the patient can remove his hand from it and hurt himself.

Ensure regular supervision of the patient while wearing gloves, including:

Do not allow patients to bite the gloves, swallowing a piece of filler may be unsafe

Ensure that the patient is in bed while wearing gloves.

When moving around with gloves, there is a risk of falling and injury.
