Menopause or cessation of menstruation means the end of the reproductive period in a woman's life.

Most women experience this phase between the ages of 45 and 50. The period of time before and during menopause is called the climacteric period. During this period, there is a gradual decrease and cessation of the production of female sex hormones. Clinically, this manifests itself in a number of psychosomatic symptoms: hot flashes, bouts of tachycardia, sweating, irritability and anxiety, headaches, sleep disorders, increased sensitivity of the mammary glands, dry skin, facial flushing, decreased libido, mood swings. The course of the menopause is often complicated by the development of serious diseases such as obesity, diabetes mellitus, cerebral atherosclerosis, arterial hypertension, breast cancer and osteoporosis.which is characterized by progressive loss of bone tissue and the development of pathological fractures.

Phytohormones (isoflavones) are compounds of plant origin that act on the body in a similar way to estrogens. Their natural source is plants, in particular, soybeans and red clover are especially rich in phytohormones. In Asian countries, the incidence of breast cancer and cardiovascular diseases in women is much lower than in Europe and the United States. This is due to the consumption of large amounts of foods rich in plant isoflavones. Taking drugs based on isoflavones allows a woman to avoid the development of undesirable manifestations of menopause and life-threatening complications.

Dry extract of red clover contains 4 isoflavones: Biochanin A, Formononetin, Daidzein, Genistein.

Isoflavones of red clover in their structure are closest to the estrogens of the human body in comparison with other phytoestrogens.

Due to this similarity, red clover isoflavones can effectively reduce menopause.
