pharmachologic effect

Combined herbal preparation. It has a diuretic, antispasmodic, litholytic, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effect. The drug regulates the crystal-colloidal balance in dysmetabolic nephropathy, reduces the concentration in the urine of elements that contribute to the formation of stones (oxalic acid, calcium, hydroxyproline). Increases the level of elements that inhibit the process of stone formation (sodium, magnesium, potassium). Acting on mucin, the drug promotes disintegration of stones, leading to their demineralization. Prevents the accumulation of particles around the core of the stone, which prevents further growth. By stimulating diuresis and relaxing the smooth muscles of the urinary tract, Cyston promotes the elimination of oxalate and phosphate salts, uric acid and small stones from the urinary tract.Cyston has a bacteriostatic and bactericidal effect, especially against Klebsiella spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli and other gram-negative bacteria. The litholytic effect of the drug does not depend on urine pH.

Pharmacokinetics

The therapeutic effect of Cyston is due to the cumulative effect of its components, therefore, kinetic observations are not possible.

Indications for use

As part of complex therapy: - urolithiasis

- crystalluria

- urinary tract infections (cystitis, pyelonephritis)

- gout.

Contraindications for use

- hypersensitivity to drug components.

Dosage regimen

In the complex therapy of urolithiasis, the drug is prescribed 2 tab.

2 times / day for 4-6 months or until stones come out.

In the complex therapy of urinary tract infections, the drug is prescribed in 2 tabs.

2 times / day until the elimination of the process.

To prevent relapse after surgical removal or release of stones - 2 tab.

2 times / day for 1 month, then 1 tab.

2 times / day for 4-5 months.

Overdose
