The hernial umbilical belt is intended for the conservative treatment of an umbilical hernia in the presence of contraindications to surgery, prevention of prolapse and infringement of the hernial sac. The hernial belt can be used in hospitals, during outpatient treatment. In the early postoperative period, the belt is worn constantly, removed during a night's sleep. As the postoperative suture heals, they switch to temporary wearing a bandage, mainly during physical exertion. The product consists of two parts: an elastic belt and a cotton cover, into which the pelot is inserted. The size is adjusted according to the size of the waist. It is recommended to put on the belt in the supine position, immediately after the reduction of the hernial protrusion. A semi-rigid pad is applied to the navel area, then the belt is fixed with a velcro fastener.
