Children's shoulder brace (kerchief) Orlett AS-302 (P) is widely used as an independent method of immobilization, and in combination with other orthoses on the joints of the hand or traditional plaster casts.
The simple and effective design of the brace provides fixation and relief of the arm joints in the supportive support “sleeve” and optimizes the arm position.
Indications for the use of the Orlett AS-302 (P) shoulder gusset:
Fixation of plaster casts or hand orthoses using a supporting support sleeve
Contusions, rehabilitation after subluxations, dislocations and fractures of the arm
Hand fixation for acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the joints (arthritis, arthrosis of the shoulder joint, humeral-scapular periarthritis)
Paresis and paralysis of the hand.
Advantages and features of the bandage:
The material of the sleeve of the bandage is a durable mesh with high moisture and air permeability.
The shoulder strap and lumbar strap are made of soft durable tape and are comfortable to wear
Curves in the area of the elbow and wrist joints ensure a good fit of the band in the hand
The length of the bandage straps is easily adjustable, which makes it easy to adjust it to size
The bandage has an additional loop for the thumb, which further relieves the hand.
A belt around the waist fixes the arm to the body, which enhances the degree of fixation and allows the use of the orthosis in case of severe injuries.
Sizing: To select the correct size for the Orlett AS-302 (P) children's shoulder brace, measure the length of the shoulder girdle from the elbow to the metatarsophalangeal joint of the little finger (beginning of the toe) using a measuring tape.
