The ImmunoChrom-anti-HIV-1/2-Express kit is intended for a one-stage rapid qualitative in vitro determination of the presence of antibodies to human immunodeficiency virus type 1 and / or type 2 (HIV-1/2) in serum (plasma) or whole blood by the method of immunochromatographic analysis.

Principle of action: the definition is based on the principle of immunochromatographic analysis. The test sample is absorbed by the absorbent section of the immunochromatographic strip if antibodies to HIV-1/2 are present in the sample, the latter react with recombinant HIV antigens associated with stained microparticles, forming a colored antigen-antibody complex. This complex moves along the membrane of the strip with the liquid front and reacts with recombinant HIV antigens immobilized on the membrane in the test zone of the strip, forming a pink-violet line. The rest of the components form a pink-purple line at the top of the test area (control). The result of the reaction is assessed visually after 15 minutes).

Principle of action: the definition is based on the principle of immunochromatographic analysis.

The test sample is absorbed by the absorbent section of the immunochromatographic strip

in the presence of antibodies to HCV in the sample, the latter react with recombinant HCV antigens associated with colloidal gold particles, forming a colored complex.

This complex moves along the membrane of the strip with the liquid front and binds to the recombinant HCV antigens immobilized as a line on the membrane in the test zone of the strip.

In the case of the presence of antibodies to HCV in the analyzed sample, two lines of pink-violet color are detected in the test zone, and in the absence, only one line (control).
