Structure

Tussamag has an expectorant, bronchodilator effect.
Reduces the viscosity of bronchial secretions, normalizes respiratory function.
Indications
Inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract with difficult to separate sputum (bronchitis, tracheitis, tracheobronchitis, whooping cough).
Contraindications
chronic heart failure in the stage of decompensation
renal failure
liver failure
pregnancy
period of breastfeeding
children's age up to 1 year
hypersensitivity to drug components.
With caution, Tussamag drops for oral administration should be used for alcoholism, severe liver diseases.
Tussamag syrup should be used with caution in patients with diabetes mellitus.

How to take, course of administration and dosage
Tussamag syrup should be taken orally, preferably after meals.
Adults are prescribed 2-3 teaspoons (10-15 ml) 3-4 times / day.
Children over the age of 5 and adolescents are prescribed 1-2 teaspoons (5-10 ml) 3-4 times / day.
Children aged 1 to 5 years are prescribed 1 teaspoon (5 ml) 2-3 times / day.
Special instructions
Tussamag drops for oral administration contain 19% by volume ethanol, syrup and syrup 9% - 4% by volume ethanol.
When prescribing Tussamag syrup 9% (175 g bottle) to patients with diabetes mellitus, it should be borne in mind that 1 teaspoon of sugar-free syrup contains 1.85 g of sorbitol, which is 0.15 XE.
The drug contains a plant extract, which may cause slight turbidity of the solution or the appearance of sediment in the vial, but this does not affect the effectiveness of the drug.
